Grouch’s music consists of a blend of minimalist,experimental, psy – gressive, tech, step and chunk, combining a mix of smooth and swamp-crunch into a user friendly dance floor sound leaving punters questing for their long lost biscuit.

He has developed a fast growing following, who readily get on the dance floor and stomp to their hearts content to squelchy, deep, root connecting bass.

Tom has been an active producer since 2004. His initial project Trenquillo went through a long process of studio work and finally trance-formed into SYNERGY. His current sound ranges between 144 – 150 BPM spectrum and is an active mixture of deep bass lines, heavy synths and groove oriented leads over dry atmospheres. Created to freak-out the dancefloor, Synergy debuts in Kolkata with an all original live-set.

Ganeshaa is a solo project by Ankit Lall from India. He has been producing, playing and journeying with electronica for the past 4 years and finds himself drawn to his roots in Indian classical music. As a result, he has spent time working with several musicians especially those with Afro-Cuban and Jazz backgrounds. The Ganeshaa project is inspired by the sounds of the world whilst on the search for harmonic balance between electronica and the classical definition of music. The sound is best described as an ever changing state of soundscapes, melodies and rhythms.

Ankit’s electronic persona has a strong affinity to Goatrance, Psy-ambient, Progressive House and Lounge. He has played as a DJ at various clubs, outdoor parties and festivals and is working on his own live-set and album for liquidfrequency. Ankit is also a bamboo flautist, an instrument maker, a professional audio engineer and is designing and building his own studio, ‘Aural Vision’ in Kolkata.

Liquidfrequency.com & the Bengaliens return on Wednesday the 23rd of September with The Cosmic Convention featuring DJ Paul Taylor [Kundalini Records :: UK]

Paul Taylor began his DJ’ing career as a DAT dj in the season of ‘96 in Goa. Travelling back and forth between Goa and the U.K , he also spent the late nineties running a Trance record shop in London’s Portobello. By 1998 Paul had began to play for some of the major party groups (Kundalini, Escape From Samsara, Enlightenment) in London at the time.

In 2000 he joined TIPWorld records as a label DJ/Co A&R ,and for the next two years became to be known internationally, as both a TIP DJ, and for his track selection on compilations. In 2002, he left London to live in Ibiza and spent the next 3 years co-producing music with artists such as Earthling,Soundaholics, CampoSonic (Celli Earthing, Bushman and Paul Taylor). Whilst in Ibiza he also joined Spun Records as Label Dj and A&R, and compiled the top selling Spun Compilation:’Tweakers’. Paul has co-produced tracks with some of the leading artists in the scene like Wizzy Noise, Joti Sidhu and Psysex.

His DJ compilations include Time and Space 1&2 (Maia Recs. Mexico), Tweakers (Spun), Freedom Fighters ( Crystal Matrix Recs). His first artist album: “HIGH LIFE” received excellent reviews and sold out soon after it’s December 2008 release…this album defined a whole new sound in the Psy Trance scene, which will be further defined in his latest upcoming release: “PURITY”…soon to be released September 2009 on Kundalini Records U.K.
